Horia Qualifies In Forest Hills
Horia won three matches to make the main draw at the Forest Hills Tennis Classic at the Westside Tennis Club...the old home of the US Open.
Horia defeated Jean-Julien Rojer 64 75 to advance and now plays 8th seeded Juan Pablo Bryziecki in the first round.

Horia Posts Best Result in 2007
Horia reached the finals of both singles and doubles at the USA F4 in Brownsville, Texas. Horia. This was Horia's best result since he won two futures in 2005. Horia moves on to Arlingen, Texas for another futures event. The ATP points Horia earned from last week's result will not appear on the rankings until next Monday and at that point he will return to the top 400.

Horia Through to Futures Final
Horia has been having another fantastic week on the futures circuit. Today he defeated Giovanni Lapentti, younger brother of former top 10 player, Nicolas. Horia was down 64 30 and came back to win 46 75 64 to advance to the finals where he will face South African Wesley Whitehouse.
We will post his result tomorrow and try to get a little feedback from Horia on his big week

Tecau Wins 5-set Thriller in Davis Cup
Horia won a huge match for the Romanian Team as he teamed with former partner Florin Mergea to take down Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra in 5 sets on Saturday.
This kept the Romanian team alive in the 1st round World Group match, but unfortunately Gasquet defeated Pavel on Sunday to give France the insurmountable 3-1 lead.
Congrats to Horia for executing an extremely clutch performance on French soil.

Horia Doubling up For Davis Cup
Horia is once again playing doubles for Team Romania in Davis Cup. The team has a difficult match playing France in France, but all their best players are healthy and prepared to go. Andrei Pavel and Victor Hanescu will play singles while Pavel and Horia will team up for doubles.
